So, you’ve got a small army headed to the breakfast table, ey? Then you’re going to need the proper rations ready! And when it comes to feeding a hungry horde (or family of six or seven), there are few better ways to do it than with this delicious Zaycon Fresh 12 Egg 3 Meat Strata.

Question: is the real beauty here the amazing taste, or is it the fact that you can prep this meal the night before and “prepare it” simply by popping it in the oven in the morning? Either way, it’s a win.

Zaycon Fresh 12 Egg 3 Meat Strata

Original Zaycon Fresh Recipe from Steven John

What You Need:

 

- 8 pieces of bread, diced and w/o crust (white or wheat)

- 1/3 lb. Zaycon Fresh Old Fashioned Boneless Applewood Smoked Ham, diced

- 1/3 lb. Zaycon Fresh Premium Hickory Smoked Bacon, cooked and chopped

- 1/3 lb. Zaycon Fresh Pork Sausage Links, cooked and coined

- 3/4 lb. cheddar cheese, cubed or shredded

- 2 3/4 cups milk (whole is best)

- A dozen eggs

- 1 tsp. dry mustard powder

- 1 1/4 tsp. salt; pepper to taste

- Enough melted butter to coat 9″ by 13″ baking pan

What You Do:

- Mix bread, meats, and cheese and pour into buttered baking dish.

- Combine eggs, milk, and seasonings and mix.

- Pour egg/milk blend over bread and meat.

- Chill dish for several hours (or overnight)

- Bake at 325 for 60 minutes

- Enjoy!
