MINIMAL HANDLING, MAXIMUM FRESHNESS

The Zaycon Fresh business model is what we like to call elegantly simple. By directing the combined buying power of our customers at a few staple products, we can make huge bulk purchases and get amazingly low rates from our partnered farms. By leaving foods in their original bulk packaging and skipping middlemen like warehouses and grocery stores, we also cut down on storage and handling costs. That’s how we can source such high-quality food and still offer you such low prices.

But low pricing is just one part of the Zaycon Fresh equation. The other part is right there in our name: fresh. When it comes to our signature product, boneless, skinless chicken breast, it’s almost impossible to get fresher meat unless you own your own farm. That’s because our business model not only cuts down on price, storage, and handling: it also cuts out a huge amount of time between when the chicken is processed and when it is delivered to you.

The minimal handling and total lack of repackaging and excess processing means much less chance your chicken can becomes exposed to any sort of contamination. The elimination of warehousing, multiple distribution centers, and the languishing wait on a grocery store’s display case means meat that is days (or even weeks!) fresher than what you would otherwise have access to buying. That means less protein degradation and more nutrients, AKA healthier chicken breast.

And by the way, it also means tastier chicken, too!

When our company started out, we figured that getting people the freshest chicken possible at the lowest prices possible was an idea that might just resonate with customers. It was kind of a crazy idea, right? Delivering bulk boxes of fresh chicken to people in parking lots? Turns out…it was crazy enough to work!
